What it’s for

A web app for cycling groups, like HBV.

Built around the people you ride with — sharing ideas, planning the week, and keeping local knowledge on the map.

Plan the week ahead

See who’s doing what in the coming days — weekday spins, the Sunday ride, and bigger sportives worth planning for.

Share ride ideas

Chat in one place. Paste a Strava route link and it loads in the thread so everyone can see the line.

Find who’s doing what

RSVP going, maybe, or out. Vote on route options before the group commits.

Find a buddy

Add a mid-week ride when you want company — not only the big club outing.

Maps & Street View

Past activities, routes, and elevation on a real map. Drop Street View to check the road before you go.

Tag the road

Mark coffee shops and beautiful segments. Report busy places, hazards, and notices for the next rider.

Inside the alpha

Calendar, chat, maps, and tagging

The pieces from the HBV brief — who is riding, which route, and what the road is like — in one club workspace.

calendar

Calendar

See who’s doing what in the coming days. Add your own weekday rides if you want company, and spot the bigger sportives people are doing so you can plan ahead.

routes

Route options

Add or see proposed route options on a ride, then vote on which ones you prefer — before anyone rolls out.

rsvp

RSVP

Let everyone else know if you’re coming — going, maybe, or out — so the ride isn’t a thread of guessing.

chat

Chat

Club channels plus an All view. Paste a Strava route link and it loads in chat. Message from anywhere, and do things straight from the conversation.

maps

Maps

Past activities, routes, elevation and ride details on a real map — not a screenshot buried in a group chat.

street-view

Street View

Drop Street View on the map and drag the panorama to check junctions, climbs, and meeting points before you go.

tagging

Tagging

Add the nice places — coffee shops, beautiful segments — and report busy roads, hazards, and notices so the next rider knows.

buddy

Find a buddy

See who’s free for a quick spin mid-week, not only the big Sunday ride. Company when you want it.

How it works

No public waitlist gimmick. If you already ride with a group, this is the path in.

01

Get an invite

HBV is closed alpha. We onboard a few cycling groups at a time. Request access and tell us who you ride with.

02

Join your group

Create an account, accept the invite, and land in the workspace — calendar, chat, and maps ready for the week ahead.

03

Plan and ride

Put a ride on the calendar, share route options, collect RSVPs, tag the road, and keep the chat next to the plan.

Questions, briefly

Closed alpha, groups only, not a Strava clone. If that still leaves a gap, ask — we read every access request.

Request access
What is HBV?
A web app for cycling groups — share ride ideas, plan the week ahead, see who’s doing what, find a buddy for a quick ride, and tag nice places, hazards, and notices on the map. Not a training log or a public feed.
What does closed alpha mean?
The product is real and in use with invited groups, but it is not open to everyone yet. Features will move, break, and get rebuilt. We would rather onboard slowly than ship a public mess.
How do I get access?
Request access and tell us about your group — size, how you plan rides today, and who would admin. If you already have an invite, log in or sign up from the buttons at the top.
Is this a Strava competitor?
No. Strava is about your rides. HBV is about the group: who is coming, which route option wins, and the chat around it. Paste Strava links into chat when you want — HBV loads them for everyone.
Do I need a club to join?
Yes. HBV is built around groups, not a solo feed. A formal club or a regular crew both count — we just need a group to hang the workspace on.
